Dire Straits Sultans of swing


Dire Straits fue una banda de rock británica fundada en 1977 y fue disuelta en 1995. Todo comenzó cuando los hermanos Knopfler, Mark y David, vivían en Londres y se unen para formar el grupo, Dire Straits, algo así como "situación límite".

Dire Straits grabó y realizó su primer del mismo nombre en 1978 con poca aceptación hasta que cinco meses después lanzó un sencillo, Sultans of Swing, que convirtió el disco en uno de los más vendidos.
Mark Knopfler fue su guitarrista y su voz principal.
